Scott Erdman is the Chief Merchandising Officer at eBags, the leading online retailer of travel-related products in the world. Erdman joined the company in 2016 as a veteran in retail, merchandising and ecommerce with more than 20 years of experience in luxury retail, apparel and accessories. At eBags, Erdman oversees the merchandising, merchandise operations, site experience and creative teams.

Scott Erdman is a veteran in retail, merchandising and ecommerce with more than 20 years of experience in luxury retail, apparel and accessories. Erdman joins eBags from Bluefly, where he served as Chief Merchandising and Marketplace Officer. Erdman spearheaded the site's transformation from an asset owned business model into a marketplace business model, making the site a true destination for fashionable consumers. Erdman has also held management positions at Saks Fifth Avenue, LVMH, and Macy's. Throughout his career, Erdman’s leadership has delivered proven results in both digital and brick and mortar models.

Prior to Bluefly, Erdman served as General Merchandising Manager at Swirl by DailyCandy, a start-up retail venture under the DailyCandy Enterprises umbrella. He was previously Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue and has also held merchandising roles at Macy’s and LVMH, gaining valuable experience working with LVMH brands eLuxury.com and DFS (Duty Free Shoppers). At eLuxury.com, he managed both merchandising and marketing functions, and at DFS he managed the boutique division and was responsible for luxury fashion shops including Cartier, Tiffany, Bvlgari, Gucci and Ferragamo.

Erdman holds a B.A from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration.
